Mass of globe shaped, lavender blue blooms on silvery stems strating late summer. Clump of coarse, deeply cut green leaves are white tomentose beneath. Tolerant of poor, infertile, shallow, rocky or dry soils, provided they are well drained. Dislikes rich soils. A great choice for pollinators. Drought tolerant once established.
