Wild Strawberry

Native strawberry. Small, fragrant, sweet-tart fruits with bigger yields in spring and fall. Good for fresh eating, pies and jams. Also used for erosion control. Prefers rich, sandy-loamy, moist, but well-drained soil. Drought tolerant once established.
