Collection: 2026 Rose Bush Preorder

Roses are a timeless favourite in northern gardens, and at Braeheid Gardens in Grande Prairie, Alberta, we focus on offering cold-hardy rose varieties proven to thrive in Peace Country growing conditions. Every rose in this preorder collection is rated for Zone 2 or Zone 3, making them well suited for our Zone 3a climate and a reliable choice for northern Alberta gardeners.

This year’s rose preorder includes 16 carefully selected rose varieties, featuring a mix of shrub roses, landscape roses, and climbing roses chosen for their winter hardiness, strong growth habits, and dependable flowering. Many of these roses are varieties we have sold successfully for years and have seen perform well in local gardens.

We are also excited to introduce four new rose varieties to our lineup this season:
Morden Sunrise Rose, Morden Belle Rose, Adelaide Hoodless Rose, and William Baffin Rose. These additions expand the range of colours, growth habits, and landscape uses available to growers, while still meeting our strict standards for cold-climate performance.

Within this collection you’ll find roses that mature anywhere from approximately 3 feet to 8 feet tall, as well as climbing roses capable of reaching up to 13 feet when established. The Above and Beyond Rose is our tallest climbing variety, ideal for trellises, arbors, and fences, while the compact Rugelda Pavement Rose stays around 30 inches tall, making it a great option for borders and smaller spaces.

Preordering is the best way to secure the varieties you want and save money at the same time. All rose preorders receive 15% off regular retail pricing, or 20% off when your preorder total reaches $1,000 or more. Preorders are open until April 30th, while quantities last.

Rose shipments are scheduled to arrive between May 4th and May 10th, and customers will be notified by email once their orders arrive and are ready for pickup.
