Rocky Mountain White Oak

Native to the Foothills and Rocky Mountains. Glossy green, lobed foliage turns golden-yellow to orange-red in fall. Spring catkins turn into small green acorns maturing to golden-brown. Tolerates alkaline soils and elevations to 9000'. Drought tolerant once established.
